Fresh new book title lettering for Penguin Random House UK, crafted in a classic serif style for the 2024–25 editions of two books by British naturalist Len Howard.

Len was a British naturalist and musician best known for her studies of birds. Her Bird Cottage in Sussex is where she lived in intimate contact with nature and birds. She learnt about their capacity for play and humour, the range of their song, their likes and dislikes. Admiring their individual personalities, intelligence, emotional lives and characters.
